Here are the details on how to enter and how this all works.
Giveaway Details
You can enter the giveaway between January 2, 2026, 12:01 am EST, and February 28, 2026, 11:59 pm EST. Be aware that our system time will be used, so try to avoid entering at the very last minute. You must be 18 years or older, live in Virginia, and own a home in our service area. Specifically, we serve Richmond, Henrico County, and Chesterfield County, including places like Short Pump, Midlothian, and Mechanicsville. So, basically, central Virginia.
The prize is an entirely new system with installation! We’ll assess your home and install a suitable brand-new system valued up to $20,000. Note that the award is not transferable. The point is to replace that ugly HVAC system. The odds of winning depend on how many entries we receive.
Our employees and their families aren’t eligible, to keep it fair. You agree to these rules by entering.
How To Enter Your Ugly HVAC System
Joining the giveaway is pretty straightforward. Here are the mechanics on how you can join the giveaway to showcase your ugly HVAC system:
1. Entry Form
You can complete the entry form here. Our form asks for your name, address, phone number, and email. Please make sure to provide accurate and up-to-date contact information. We won’t sell it or use it for things other than the giveaway, but if you win and we’re unable to contact you, we’ll give the prize to someone else.
2. Entry Limit
Limit one entry per household/person. You may help a family member submit their own entry.
3. No Purchase Necessary
Needless to say, you don’t have to buy anything from us to have a chance of winning. You just have to send in an entry!
4. Description Requirement
You will need to provide a two-sentence description of why your HVAC system is the ugliest. Does it clank and groan? Is it literally ugly, hurting your place’s aesthetics? Does it simply not keep up on hot days? Is there a hotspot right in your bedroom?
We’re not asking for much, just tell us why your HVAC deserves the award for ugliest in Virginia.
5. Photo Submission (Optional)
You can also attach a photo to show off your HVAC’s qualities. This is optional, but we love to see them.
6. Post-Selection Requirements and Tax Responsibility
We will choose one winner at random from all eligible entries. If we contact you, you need to sign a statement saying you are eligible, a liability release, and a publicity release within fourteen days. You’re also responsible for any taxes on the prize value.
7. Announcement of Winner and Future Entries
We’ll announce the winner in March, ideally on March 13. After that, sorry, you didn’t win, although you can try again next year if you haven’t been able to fix your ugly HVAC system.

The maximum value of the prize is $20,000. This covers most of the systems we install. We decide what the system is, but obviously, we’ll be working with you to understand your needs, just as with any other customer.
Your new system will be professionally installed by our trained technicians, with a goal of creating a comfortable indoor environment.
